MacroFood privacy policy

MacroFood is a website and Android app: calories and macros from a food photo. Questions — in the support chat in the service; our details are in the public offer.

1. What data we receive
• When you sign in with Yandex ID: your Yandex user id, name and login. With VK ID: your VK user id, first and last name.
• Your phone number from Yandex ID or VK ID — only if you allow it (you can refuse). We don't store the number itself: only its irreversible fingerprint, to tell you that you already have an account and offer to merge them. We don't request your email.
• A food photo and its caption — only for the analysis. We don't store photos: a photo is deleted after the analysis; only its fingerprint (hash) remains, which can't be turned back into the photo.
• What happens in the service: analysis results, settings, limit and purchases (plan, price, payment id), an email for the receipt when paying by card, support messages.
• Anonymous statistics (our own server, no cookies) and Android app crash reports — without your id, name or photos.
We don't ask for your location, contacts or card details.

2. Why
Analyzing photos, tracking the limit and purchases, support, protection from abuse and improving the service. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.

3. Who we share data with
• AI technology provider — only the photo without metadata and the caption, no id or name. They can't be used to identify you, so they are not personal data. Send only food — no people or documents — and don't put personal data in the caption. The request goes through our intermediate server, which stores neither the photo nor the caption.
• Yandex ID (Yandex LLC) — confirms the sign-in and sends us your id, name, login and (if you allow it) phone. We don't send anything to Yandex.
• VK ID (VK LLC) — confirms the sign-in and sends us your id, name and (if you allow it) phone. We don't send anything to VK.
• Robokassa — card payments: amount and email for the receipt. Card details are entered on its page; we never see them.
• AppMetrica (Yandex LLC) — crash reports from the RuStore Android app; data is stored in Russia.

4. Deleting your data
Write to support or tap «Delete account» in the settings — we'll delete your account and data within 30 days (except payment records needed to resolve payment questions). You can also ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it.

5. Other
The service is not for children under 13. A new version of this policy is published here, with the date at the top. By using MacroFood, you agree to this policy.
